Senior Vice President – Styrene and Corporate Services
Randy Pogue is Senior Vice President – Styrene and Corporate Services of AmSty. He was appointed to this position in 2015 after serving as Vice President - Styrene, Feedstocks and Corporate Services since 2007. His role with Corporate Services includes responsibility for the Supply Chain, Customer Service, Information Technology, and Purchasing functions of the company. Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Pogue was The Dow Chemical Company's Global Supply Chain Leader for the Aromatics Derivatives Businesses.
Mr. Pogue joined The Dow Chemical Company as a Senior Research Chemist at Texas Operations in Hydrocarbons and Energy Research & Development. He worked in styrene catalyst and new process research before participating in one of the company's first Six Sigma training waves in 1999. Mr. Pogue became Six Sigma black belt certified in 2000 while working on a variety of styrene and polystyrene envelope management projects.
Mr. Pogue accepted the role of Aromatic Derivatives Global Supply Chain Manager in 2000. Additionally, he became responsible for the Hydrocarbons North American Rail Fleet in 2002 and the Global Aromatics Business Supply Chain in 2004. Mr. Pogue served as a Business Team Member for both the Aromatic Derivatives and Aromatics businesses. He also served as The Dow Chemical Company's representative for the Styrene Information and Research Center (SIRC) from 2004 to 2006.
Mr. Pogue holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Drury College, as well as Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma.
