AmSty Opens Styrene Truck Terminal in Joliet
Channahon, Illinois – September 16, 2014 – Americas Styrenics announces the opening of a new styrene truck terminal at its Channahon (Joliet), Illinois facility, beginning October 1. The terminal, which is wholly owned by AmSty, will schedule shipments seven days per week, according to Jon Timbers, Production Manager for the Joliet plant. AmSty has reached an agreement with neighboring Hoffman Transportation to supply a dedicated number of trucks exclusively for the terminal.
